1994-01 Acura Integra & 1997-01 Honda CRV Hyper Intake Manual
Additional Parts needed when you have a Dragon Filter, 1 x 3″-3″ Coupler / 2 x 3″ Clamp Remove bolts securing OEM air cleaner box, loosen clamps on OEM rubber intake pipe. Remove the coolant transfer / PCV hardline from from OEM intake and engine. Mark the coolant tranfer hose origins, install the 10mm hose supplied in kit to those 2 locations. Remove the OEM rubber intake tube, remove the OEM air cleaner box by pulling upwards. Wipe the throttlebody clean of any grease, install the 2.5″-3″ coupler onto throttlebody, secure with OEM clamp. Insert Weapon*R intake pipe into the 3″ end of the 2.5″-3″ coupler, secure with clamp. Measure the OEM PVC hose, replace with supplied 10mm hose, install from PVC port to intake pipe. Install the hoses from their point of origin and onto the Weapon *R intake pipe. Install the Weapon*R Hyper filter onto the end of the intake pipe. Note: Dragon / Secret Weapon Filter Option : Disregard installation on Hyper filter. Install 3″ coupler onto Dragon or Secret Weapon air filter, secure with supplied clamp. Install filter assembly onto the end of Weapon*R intake pipe, secure with OEM clamp. Install U-shaped part of intake system bracket under the clamp on air filter. Install the rubber mounting grommet to the closest hole to the Weapon*R air filter. Bend the straight portion of the intake system bracket to the Rubber mounting grommet. Secure with washer and nut included in bracket kit. Position air intake pipe for clearance, making sure no parts are touching any part of the vehicle. Check for hood clearance, re-adjust intake tube for perfect fitment and clearances. Place Weapon*R CARB Sticker on a visible place in engine compartment.
